Sam Zygmuntowicz's
Jump! When The Trumpets Blow
~A Southern Fiddle Suite~
North meets South ~~ Recorded in Nashville and New York
Co-produced by prize-winning New York Fiddle Sam Zygmuntowicz and three times Tennessee State Fiddle Champ Jim Wood, this CD explores the energy and emotion in American old-time fiddle music. In addition to traditional classics, this recording presents original tunes and songs, with rich settings that feature Celtic influenced guitar and Bouzouki, and Nordic flavored harmonies. These tunes and songs are sequenced as a suite and set "movements", with a recurring theme.
